Abstract

This article analyzes the linguacultural and cognitive characteristics of onomastic units within Uzbek folklore, specifically focusing on riddles. The role of anthroponyms, toponyms, and mythonyms used in riddles in expressing the national mentality, cultural codes, and the worldview of the people is highlighted through specific examples.
